Where and When: This year’s event will take place at The Appalachian Theatre of the High Country on Friday, May 2, 2025.
Your impact: Sponsorship of WEF’s Shooting Stars event provides funding for classroom grants. All Watauga County teachers are eligible to apply for grants to fund projects that will directly benefit students through innovative and creating teaching methods. The Shooting Stars event also helps to fund the Price Deverick Scholarship for Teachers, which provides funding for professional development.
The benefit to you: Sponsors have the opportunity to introduce their company to a crowd of over 600 individuals. We would be excited to showcase your business that evening as we also celebrate WEF’s work to enrich student learning for all Watauga County public school students through innovative education experiences that inspire every student to achieve his or her highest potential.
